Kid Cudi is set to appear on next week’s episode of Jada Pinkett Smith’s series.

Kid Cudi is opening up about Mental Health on Jada Pinkett Smith’s Facebook series, Red Table Talk. Set to air on Monday, Cudi sits down with Pinkett Smith, her daughter Willow Smith, and her mother Adrienne Banfield-Jones, and gets personal about his experiences. In a People exclusive clip, he states,

“I was really good at keeping my troubles hidden… even from my friends…I really was good with that. And it’s scary because you hear people say, ‘I had no clue.'”

The musician continued on after Jada and Willow chimed in agreeance,

“Sometimes, I let them know that it’s not their fault. It was me. I really went out of my way to keep what I was going through hidden because I was ashamed.”

This is not the first time Cudi has opened up about his struggle with mental health. In the past, the Cleveland native has shared with fans his battles with depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts. He most recently discussed in a GQ interview in October, about having to check himself into rehab back in 2016.
