The legacy of Lebron James continues to grow thanks to more late game heroics in the NBA Playoffs. In game five of the Cleveland Cavaliers series against the Indiana Pacers in the first round of the 2018 NBA playoffs, James found himself in a position to take over for a team in need of a big win. He provided it on both ends of the court for Cleveland.

With about sevens seconds in the game, James found himself switched on to Pacers All-Star Victor Oladipo. The quicker guard made a subtle move to get to the rim but James recovered and delivered an eerily similar late game block at the rim.

While there are some who contend the block was actually a goaltend, James decided to close out any and all future doubt about the end result of the game.

After his heroic defensive effort, James caught the ball off an inbound from Jeff Green. He dribbled left on Thaddeus Young and the rest can best be told in video form, thanks to the Clippittv app.

James’ clutch three-pointer to win game five comes at a pivotal time for Cleveland. The team has their backs against the wall seemingly from the start of this series after losing game one to the Pacers at home. But with a 3-2 lead heading into game six in Indiana, it might be time for James to deliver another death blow to another Eastern Conference team looking to eliminate James.
