New York Giants star Odell Beckham Jr left Monday nights Preseason game against the Cleveland Browns with an ankle injury. The NFL community was not happy about the play, with some showing their disapproval on their social medias.
Beckham was forced off the field after Browns cornerback Briean Boddy-Calhoun hit him in the lower leg with his left foot planted firmly in the dirt. Many players perceived this play as dirty due to the circumstances of the game and the lack of real meaning. A few even voiced their dislike of the hit on twitter.

Beckham was diagnosed with a sprained ankle and will undergo further MRI’s during the week. He was seen jogging in the facilty after the game, a good sign of avoiding major injury. While many were upset with the play OBJ seemed in good spirits and held no bad feelings afterward.
