Report: Harden and Paul to Team Up at The Drew League against Westbrook

Last month, the Los Angeles Clippers traded away superstar point guard Chris Paul to the Houston Rockets in exchange for Lou Williams, Patrick Beverley, Sam Dekker Montrezl Harrell and a 2018 1st round pick reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Since then, the duo of James Harden and Chris Paul pairing up in Houston has fans everywhere salivating over their talented backcourt. The two have teased what they could possibly look like on the floor together by way of Instagram pictures but nothing too serious until now.

Following from Marc J. Spears of ESPN and The Undefeated.

NBA All-Star guard James Harden and backcourt newcomer Chris Paul are expected to team up Sunday for LA Unified in the Drew League in Los Angeles, a source told The Undefeated.

What makes their possible team-up even better is their potential opponent Sunday is reigning league MVP, Russell Westbrook.

The matchup at the famed Pro-Am is even more intriguing due to the fact that LA Unified plays Home Town Favorites, which is expected to star 2017 NBA Most Valuable Player Russell Westbrook, a source said.

The Drew League has been host to some of the best College and NBA talent in the past and Sunday will be no different.
