As of this writing “Project Runway All Stars” season 6 is down to its top 6 designers, whittled down from 16 after nine episodes of challenges where the panel of judges has knocked out the unsuccessful fashion hopefuls one by one. Actress Alyssa Milano has hosted the show since season three in addition to serving as a judge. She evaluates the designs every week alongside famous fashion designers Isaac Mizrahi and Georgina Chapman, who have been with “All Stars” from the very beginning. 

But despite their professional expertise, our readers have objected to many of the decisions they have made on the way to the top six.The fans we’ve polled were especially unhappy with the ousters of Amanda Valentine in “Fashion’s New Superheroes” (92% of our respondents thought she should have stayed in the competition) and Kimberly Goldson in “A Kick in the Astro” (76% thought she should have stayed). 

And they took exception to Joshua McKinley winning “Thrown for a Loop by Betty Boop” with an especially revealing design (69% thought he had serious taste issues).But our readers were on the same page with the judges when they sent home Merline Labissiere in “Mizrahi Madness” and McKinley in “Posen on the Red Carpet,” so maybe the judges are back on track.
