Bollywood top stars Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone tied the knot today in Lake Como in a Konkani-style wedding. The wedding was a private event and only close family members were on the guest list. Earlier in the day, few pictures of the family members arriving at the venue had gone viral on various social media platforms much to the joy of fans who were eagerly to waiting to get a glimpse of their stars wedding. And post the wedding, Deepika Padukone s cousin Amit Padukone posted a sweet welcome message for the newlyweds on his Twitter page. Amit Padukone wrote that he hasn t seen his sister happier so much and she deserves nothing less. "Magical week, steeped purely in love. Fairy-tale union of the two most kind, beautiful souls. @RanveerOfficial Welcome to the fam! you've dethroned me as filmiest, but I'll cope ?? @deepikapadukone Never seen you happier; you deserve no less!" wrote Amit Padukone in his tweet.

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone will have another wedding tomorrow, November 15^th, 2018 in Lake Como which will be as per Sindhi rituals. This wedding too will have an elite guest list with only close family members. Ranveer and Deepika will host a grand reception in Bengaluru on November 28^th, 2018 for family members since it is the actress hometown. The couple will also host another reception in Mumbai later in the month for their friends from Bollywood which will be an extravagant affair.
