After Karisma Kapoor started off the morning half of Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2017, it was time for Urvashi Rautela and Pernia Qureshi to take over the afternoon half. Both the ladies hit the runway on day 4 and we have to say that they looked really gorgeous. While Urvashi walked for Sonal Verma, Pernia walked for Pinakin.

Urvashi wore a sexy, navy bralet with wide embroidered pants and a striking red/white striped jacket. Pernia, on the other hand, sported a champagne fishtail skirt and white sculpted top with intense sleeves highlighted with shimmer and pearls.

Sonal Verma’s collection showcased a lot of dresses, maxis and flared pants. She made use of colourful tassles and woven beads on the outfits and showed off her embroidery skills. She complered the looks by making the models wear colourful stones and pendants as accessories. The designer made her show even more stylish by displaying specially designed, innovative handbags ranging from buckets to envelope clutches to drawstring bags.

Pinakin’s collection was simple yet elegant. We saw a lot of emphasis being paid to hand work, embroidery and detailing. His collection boasted of modern outfits that were really stylish and cool. We saw turtle neck tops paired with skirts, kurtas and sheer capes. Bandhani kurtas also gave an Indian touch to his collection. The designer also used embellishments like pearls and diamonds. Apart from Pinakin and Sonal Verma, Nishika Lulla and Nupur Kanoi also showcased their collections full of stylish and intriguing outfits. On the professional front, Urvashi was last seen in Great Grand Masti and was also a part of a song (Haseeno Ka Deewana) from Kaabil. Pernia is a fashion entrepreneur, who had styled various celebs in the past. She also designs clothes and has her own label. Anyway, check out their images from their show right here:
