Well what an exciting month it's been for The Sapphires, with our little film finding it's place firmly in the spotlight of an international stage! Opening in just 4 theatres during it's first week, The Sapphires is now screening on over 120 screens across the U.S. and Canada - with more locations being added each week!
Not only have our gems received a Sparkling reception State-side, they've caught the attention of some of the biggest names in Hollywood! The beautiful Jessica Mauboy recently dazzled as a special guest on The Ellen Show, with Ellen praising her musical pipes and professing her Love for The Sapphires.
Jess must have left a strong impression as she was then invited to chat with Ryan Seacrest in the audience of American Idol - the talent show boasting Aussie Keith Urban and Jess' personal Idol Mariah Carey as judges.
In the meantime, Ellen's love affair with The Sapphires continues, welcoming Chris O'Dowd onto one of her coveted couches to once again discuss the film once more.
