Light trickles in, rudely disturbing the darkness that has settled across my cold chamber. The sparkling metropolis appears beneath my concrete floor, manifesting a species innocent of morality and strange to the touch, lubricating the gears that turn the machine that destroys. I contemplate this wrinkled light, postulating this dreary equation, and finally scurry into the corner as dead leaves start to fall upon my head. Slowly I come to, my mind fresh with the deception of an impossibility that pervades the vast interior, of the bold-faced lies that erode a nation's confidence, and of the fear that drowns the hearts of Man.
What else is new?
