Hi,
It's has been such a long time since I updated this blog. Forgive me for my absence as I was very ill and couldn't have time to update this. Thankfully, I have since recovered and hope to continue to create beautiful artwork. ;)
Here is a WIP. "Two Leaves". When i started Drawing at a very young age, i loved to draw muscular superheroes, such as Dragonballs Z or the Incredible Hulk. As i grew bored drawing males, i try to draw female characters. However, i find it very difficult to capture the pose and the personality of females.
Best Regards,Recently I came across an article by Jean Giraud aka Moebius, a french legendary comics artist, who explained why; "Drawing a man is very different from drawing a woman. With males, you can be looser and less precise in their depiction; small imperfections can often add character. Your drawing of a woman, however, must be perfect; a single ill-placed line can dramatically age her or make her seem annoying or ugly. Then, no one buys your comic!" ~ “Breve manual para historietistas”, a lecture by Moebius to aspiring cartoonists, published in Mexican newspapers, La Jornada, 1996.
I still have lots to learn. :)
