Fernando Torres may not have scored in his last four appearances against United - or against anyone since joining Chelsea for that matter - but we have seen him make mincemeat of Nemanja Vidic in the past.

United defender Vidic has been in sub-par form of late, picking up four bookings in his last six games including two which saw him sent off in the 2-1 defeat league defeat to Chelsea last month.

The big Serbian centre-back was also made to look clumsy and hesitant by West Ham's Carlton Cole recently, conceding a penalty after being bamboozled by a sluggish stepover from a striker who is hardly Cristiano Ronaldo. If that doesn't fill Torres with confidence, then nothing will.
