I purchased the Loops a week ago and they finally arrived. I gave it a couple try and here is my review of it.
From talented Israeli magician Yigal Mesika comes one of the most powerful utility gimmicks ever invented! This wonder utility is strong enough to move silverware or a pair of sunglasses leaving you fearless to create incredible levitations and animations. Not only that, Loops are capable of creating an incredible array of stunning effects not only possible, but very practical. This miracle maker can be on you at all times and your hands stay totally clean after each effect allowing you to repeat the effect as many times as you wish.
Review:
Levitation Effect is not exactly my favorite. Even the effect is so awesome, the preparation of it is usually a hazard. People who have experience the old style invisible Thread probably understand what I'm saying. It is hard to get the thread out, sometimes they tangle, and they break easily. Yigal Mesika Elastic Thread is quite a revolution. The thread is much stronger than the old one. You can actually stretch it like a rubber band. It can carry more weight than the old thread. It is a huge evolution.
LOOPS is probably the most convenient evolution tricks out there. Many levitation effect might involve magician's wax, or tape for those who doesn't really like the wax. LOOPS effect are usually done with the loops itself, with almost no preparation, and you can carry it everywhere with you.
There are some issues you should watch out. It is NOT unbreakable. I did a trick in a wrong way and I broke one of my loops already (Sad~!). It is slightly more visible than the old thread, and the thread do reflect light sometimes, so you do want to perform it in an area that does not have too much light, or wear darker clothing.
I highly suggest you get it, along with the DVD tutorial Guerilla Guide to Loops by Nate Kranzo, Daniel Garcia and Justin Miller, which I will do a review of that DVD later.
