Portfolio Review: Heartbeat - Social Media

MOTHER'S DAY ARTWORK
For the past three years, I have been learning about design for digital products and social media and have even created digital artwork for large campaigns (e.g., 'The Voice' and 'America's Got Talent'). But sometimes there are little pieces of artwork that are created that no one ever sees.

For a single season, there was this show called, 'Heartbeat,' on NBC and I was tasked to create special Mother's Day artwork for social media that would be posted on social media platforms throughout the weeks prior to Mother's Day. The show was a primetime soap opera medical drama based on a true story about a female heart transplant surgeon living and working in Los Angeles.

The request was to create a Mother's Day artwork 'look' that could be used with several different photos. Social provided the images and I chose the colors based on Apple's Macbook color scheme because I thought they were appropriate for the occasion and feminine enough for the feel of this look. Nothing fancy. Only sweet.
