SET UP YOUR BLOG

To make a new blog, there are some settings that must be done in the blog so that we can recognize in the search engines such as Google, yahoo, MSN and friends to the other. If you do not know what should be in the settings, please follow the steps:

1. Please Log in to blogger.com, fill with your user name and password.

2. Click the title of the blog in the settings (if you already have more than one blog)

3. Click Settings, click Basic. Some of the form must be filled in the Basic menu:

* Title ⇒ content with the blog title. Example: Blogspot Tutorial

* Description ⇒ blog content with your description. Example: here we will share experiences and knowledge about the Blog

* Add your blog to our listings? ⇒ select each post so that we always go on the list of Blogger.com.

* Let search engines find your blog? ⇒ select yes

* Show Quick Editing on your Blog? ⇒ select Yes

* Show Email Post links? ⇒ should select yes, but does not also does not select anything

* Adult Content? ⇒ Choose not. If you select yes mean your blog for adults (such as porn blog)

* Show Compose Mode for all your blogs? ⇒ select Yes

* Enable transliteration? ⇒ select No, if you want to have to change the usual button to Hindi (India), select yes if vice verse)

* Click the Save Settings button. Done

4. Click Publishing menu to set the Publications:

* Blog*Spot Address ⇒ Fill Blog*Spot Address blog with your name. Example: blog-tutorial. Typically the address listed is the address of your blog directly, so do not change it.

* Click Save settings. Done

5. Click the Formatting menu to set the format:


* Show⇒ select number of post you want to show. example: Display: 6 posts, the posts will appear on the blog page is a buddy of six posts. Select posts (not days) in the pull down menu.

* Date Header Format ⇒ select the date / month that you like, Format the date / month this will always appear above our post.

* Archive Index Date Format ⇒ select the model for the archived that you like.

* Timestamp Format ⇒ Select the shape you like.

* Time Zone ⇒ Time Zone Select the time zone accordingly. WIB for example: [UTC-+7.00] Asia / Jakarta.

* Language ⇒ Select the desired language.

* Show Title field ⇒ Select yes

* Show Link fields⇒ select a link.

* Enable float alignment ⇒ select yes, but if not also want to select does not do anything

* Click the Save Settings button. Done

6. Click the Comments menu To comment:

* Comment ⇒ select the show, this article so that you can in the comment by a visitor

* Who can comment? ⇒ Select Anyone - including the Anonymous User. This mean that in every person can be said is not limited to members only blogspot.

* Comments Default for Posts ⇒ select a new post has a comment.

* Backlinks ⇒ Select show. This is so we know that when there is a link on our article.

* Backlinks Default for Posts ⇒ select new post Have Back links.

* Comments Timestamp Format ⇒ select the format you short hours. Example: 8:00 PM.

* Comment Form Message ⇒ select Yes. So that when visitors click on the page, your blog does not disappear or struck down the page.

* Comment moderation ⇒ select (should).

* Show word verification for comments? ⇒ select Yes. This in intended to avoid the software with the goal of making a robot spam.

* Show profile images on comments? ⇒ select yes. So that the image is the commentator blogger, you can display the photos.

* Comment Notification Email ⇒ address the content of your email, this is intended in order to have any comment on the article, you can post as an email from blogger.com notice.

* Click the Save Settings button. Done

7. Click Archiving Menu To set the Archive:

* Archive Frequency ⇒ select.

* Enable Post Pages? ⇒ select yes.

* Click the Save Settings button. Done.

8. Click Site Feed menu to set the site feed:

* Allow Blog Feed ⇒ select Full.

* ⇒ Changing Direction of Feed on the content of the feed address such feed from feed burner, if not own, in clear only.

* Post Feed Footer ⇒ Please fill in with the ad code you have, egg, the ad code from Google AdSense etc., but if not, please clear the course.

* Click the Save Changes button. Done.
