Just glanced out of my bungalow

from the front doorway

a young couple walked slowly by

across the road from me

seconds later from lounge window

were gone where did they go?

Could not have moved so quickly

he tall bearded had dark hair

she wore a coat of multicolours

they were real and solid

me no drink or drugs consumed

had my mind become attuned?

Or was it just a trick of the light

interpreted by my brain

from that moment did ponder

at the images viewed

and without a doubt it was real

had that no explanation feel!

Certain had seen in the square

outlines of figures pass

never looking so real as these

watched for some hours

did not return a little unnerved

any opinions are deferred!

Now on alert for anymore sightings!
