This years poster by Nancy Hogan Armour features Surfer Dude's 2010 foal of the wild herd of Chincoteague and Assateague Island's wild ponies. This print is available as a poster or a limited edition of only 375 signed and numbered prints. Every year on the last Wednesday in July, foals and yearlings from the fire company's herd, escorted by Chincoteague cowboys, swim the channel from Assateague to Chincoteague. On Thursday they are auctioned off, and those that are not sold will eventually swim back to Assateague.
