This is the week of Hithergreen Center's gigantic garage sale. Thur. June 6 and Friday June 7 are the big days. I'm really excited about the new daylily sale. Sandy and Mike Holmes of Riverbend Daylily Garden have donated bulbs from four named varieties, shown in the photo. One is a newly registered beauty named for Hithergreen. The bulbs are only $5, while they last. The garage sale is a highly anticipated event, with books, toys and housewares, crafts and antique glassware--everything a bargain.
