So we’ve just had some brilliant entertainment news from Qdos Entertainment about their upcoming pantomime at Venue Cymru in Llandudno.
The world’s biggest pantomime producer and the company staging the swashbuckling adventure Peter Pan this Christmas at Venue Cymru and they are searching for four boys to appear in this year’s show alongside former Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas.
Peter Pan marks Ryan’s second pantomime appearance having made his debut as Prince Charming in Cinderella for producers Qdos Entertainment last year. This year Ryan will swap searching for the girl who fits the glass slipper for a more malevolent search of Neverland to hunt down the boy who refuses to grow up, the high-flying hero Peter Pan, and his band of Lost Boys.

Jonathan Kiley, executive producer of Peter Pan told us. “This is a terrific opportunity for four local young people to join us on stage at Venue Cymru this Christmas, and to be part of a spectacular professional pantomime. We have two roles available, those of Wendy’s brothers Michael and John, and we will be looking for two boys to play each of the parts in rotation“.
To audition you must be no more than 4’6” tall for Michael and no more than 4’8” tall for John, with singing and acting ability. For the audition you should prepare a monologue, poem or rhyme to present and be prepared to read a short excerpt from the script.
Auditions will be held at Venue Cymru at 10.30am on Saturday 28th October 2017. To audition you must pre-register by emailing: [email protected] by 12.00pm on Thursday 26th October 2017.
Peter Pan opens at Venue Cymru on 9th December 2017 and runs until 31st December 2017.
