Ever since ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’ became a super hit at the box office, there have been reports of its sequel ‘Bangarraju’.  Nagarjuna and the director Kalyan Krishna have confirmed this project but it didn’t materialize. It has been four years ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’ released but there is no update on this sequel.  But the latest information from the Film circles reveals that Kalyan Krishna has been working on the script now. 
This film is going to be made in the combination of Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya.  Kalyan Krishna reportedly made all the changes to the script and he is finetuning it to make a successful film at the box office.  Nagarjuna will appear as Bagarraju and Chaitu will appear as the grandson in the film. We have to wait and see how this film is going to impress the audience with this combo. 
‘Bangarraju’ will be produced by Nagarjuna under Annapurna Studios banner.  The movie will go to the sets after Chaitu completes ‘Venky Mama’ movie, a multistarrer with his uncle Venkatesh.   Nagarjuna is planning to release ‘Banagarraju’ in the next Sankranthi season.
