Uri: The Surgical Strike, is one of the first movies to release this year and by the looks of all the posters and videos relating to the film, this particular Movie has a lot going for it. 1. The script

Based on one of the most devastating surgical strikes carried out by the Indian soldiers in retaliation to Pakistan’s attacks, Uri: The Surgical Strikes tells a tightly packed tale. The recently released trailer shows how the focus of the film is not on the emotional side of the actors, but on actually bringing to life what happened during the attacks in Uri (2016,) this movie is raw, emotional and hits all the right points home. Another interesting point to note here is how the movie will be presented through chapters and not as one entire homogeneous story.

2. A focus on the story rather than on songs

One of the strongest selling points of this particular movie is that it has a strong focus on the script, rather than adding songs as fillers and story pushers. It is the story which drives one to watch it from one chapter to another, without being told what to watch through the songs and as a war movie, this makes the movie extremely interesting.

The same goes for Uri, where he delivers every dialogue with finesse coupled with the perfection of a seasoned actor, as is evident from the trailer. Intense, aggressive and to the point, Vicky Kaushal moved out of his comfort zone to play the role of a soldier with brilliant ease. It is going to be quite intriguing to watch this man exceed all expectations through this role as well!

5. The theme: patriotism  

We always love a movie with a good patriotic theme to it and Uri: The Surgical Strike is going to be no different. From the dialogues, to the way every character is portrayed, this movie promises to be about loving the nation and fighting for it no matter what.
