Cheese Balls – Thanksgiving Side Dish

Ingredients

2 ounce blue cheese crumbled
3-ounce cheddar cheese crumbled
1 tsp. Dijon mustard
1/4 cup fresh parsley
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. sea salt
8 ounce Neufchâtel cheese
1/3 cup pecans
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Method

Add Pecans in a Food Processor and grind until its chopped. Keep it in the flat surface, Add all other ingredients blue cheese, cheddar cheese, Dijon mustard, fresh parsley, garlic powder, sea salt, Neufchâtel cheese, Worcestershire sauce in a food Processor and mix until all ingredients are mixed.

Remove the Mixture from the jar and create a ball, and roll a ball in pecans. Cover the balls with the plastic and refrigerate for 2 hours. Keep it for 30 minutes at room temperature before serving.

Roasted Butternut Salad – Thanksgiving Side Dish

This is the easiest Recipe you can make for Thanksgiving Dinner, This salad is high in fiber and nutrition.

INGREDIENTS

4 cups cubed peeled butternut squash
1 onion, chopped
1 tsp honey
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp pepper
1 package fresh baby spinach
2 cups coarsely chopped iceberg lettuce
1/2 cup shredded fat-free cheddar cheese
6 tablespoons reduced-fat poppy seed salad dressing, divided
1/2 cup seasoned stuffing cubes
1/2 cup dried cranberries
1/4 cup slivered almonds, toasted
4 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled

Method

Preheat the oven to 400F, Mix squash, onion, honey, garlic powder, salt and pepper in a baking pan coated in a Cooking spray. Bake it until it tender.

In another bowl, add spinach, cheese, lettuce, and squash. Drizzle it on the Salad just before service and toss it.

Add cranberries, almonds and bacon and drizzle with other remaining dressing.

Roasted Broccoli with Lemon and Parmesan -Thanksgiving Side Dish

Ingredients

1 large head of broccoli (1 1/2 pounds)cut into 1 1/2-inch florets

stems peeled and sliced 1/4 inch thick

1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil

Kosher salt

freshly ground pepper

2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon minced shallot

2 tablespoons  Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese (Grated)

Method

Preheat the oven at 400F. Add broccoli florets and stems with 2 tablespoon olive oil with salt and pepper. Bake for 30 minutes or until it turns into brown.

Take a Bowl and add Lemon Juice along with the shallot and 2 tablespoons of Olive oil, add salt and pepper according to the taste, add broccoli and Grated cheese and mix well before serving.

Cumin-and-Chile-Braised Collard Green Stems -Thanksgiving Side Dish

Ingredients

3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
2 small Fresno chiles, seeded and minced
6 garlic cloves,
thinly sliced 1 tablespoon cumin seeds
1 3/4 pounds collard green stems, cut into 1-inch lengths
1 cup chicken stock
2 tablespoons unsalted butter Kosher salt

Method

Take a Pan on a Gas stove, Heat the oil, add chiles, garlic, cumin in it. Cook in a medium stove for 1 minute. Add the collard stems and cook about 3 minutes. Add stock. Cover the pan and cook in high heat, keep stirring occasionally until it tender. Add Butter and salt, then serve.

Vanilla Bean-Whipped Sweet Potatoes -Thanksgiving Side Dish

Ingredients

4 lbs sweet potatoes
1 cup cream

4 tbsp unsalted butter,

1/2 vanilla bean,

split lengthwise,

Kosher salt,

Ground pepper

Method

Preheat the Oven, Poke the Potato with the fork much time and bake for 35 minutes.

Peel the potato and transfer them to the food processor and make a puree.

Take a pan and light the gas stove, add cream, butter, vanilla bean, and seeds. Cook for few minutes then remove Vanilla beans.

Add the cream in sweet potato and process until smooth. Add salt and pepper according to taste. Serve Hot.
