Blue Point Brewpub  Patchogue, NY

Chameleonize are a 6-piece acid-jazz / funk-fusion band whose influences include Erykah Badu, Snarky Puppy, and Hiatus Kaiyote. Combining complex musical sequences with attractive pop melodies and hip-hop grooves, they exhibit a unique twist on contemporary music.  Showtime: 3 pm..


3rd - 4 Amigos

The 4 Amigos are one of the bands that began at Beau's and who have continued and flourished. The cool combo features four veteran players of the LI music scene; John Mercuiro, Russ Seeger, Jeff Goldstein and Lee Shonik.  Showtime: 8 pm - 11 pm.


4th - Fishing With Fredo (full band) 

Swing The Teapot  Floral Park, NY

Fishing With Fredo, which is performing as a full band line-up featuring Jim Treutlein, Joseph Perricone Steve Kaplan and Michaael Leuci, brings their special singer-songwriter groove to Swing The Teapot, a lively eatery in Floral Park.  Expect an evening of original music along with some choice cover material.  Showtime: 9 pm - Midnight.  Note: Get There early as this venue fills up quickly.


4th - Barry Waller

As a solo singing guitarist, Barry has performed countless pub gigs in Denmark, Switzerland, Finland and beyond. As bassist, Barry Waller has toured Europe and the U.K. with Deep Purple's founding father Ritchie Blackmore, in Blackmore's Night (under the pseudonym Baron Saint James!). Nowadays, Barry continues to happily surprise restaurant crowds with his refreshing "outside the box" style and repertoire.  Showtime: 7 pm - 10 pm.

This seasoned trio whips up a mix of Blues, R&B, Rock, Roots, and Americana sounds.  For this gig, they will be joined by Atsushi Ouchi on Tenor sax and Satish Robertson on Trumpet.  Showtime: 8 pm - 11:30 pm.

On Saturday, October 5th, The Blue Point Brewing Company is throwing down at their first annual Blue Point Oyster Ball! Fun, fast, loud.. It's Bangers and Mash! Cranking out original songs or completely skewering a classic, "BAM" gives it all they've got, all the time. This just in from David Feldman: " I am starting a Jam as part of my gig at The Headliner Bar & Grill, the next 4 Saturday afternoons. 3-6. Equipment will be limited to start. I will have an extra amp and possibly a bit more equipment. Guitarists/bassists particularly welcome. We prob won't have a drum kit to start. 6th - Interplay Jazz Orchestra

This sixteen-piece ensemble of seasoned players has the distinction of being the only active big band on Long Island that performs original music.  Their shows always feature an energetic approach to jazz while still maintaining the traditions of that particular musical genre.  Showtime: 7 pm.

Make a point of catching this sparkling duo as they perform at the Northport ArtWalk; an event where Local merchants team up with local artists for an afternoon of exhibits, live music and beautiful creativity. 7th - Richie Cannata's Open Mic Jam 

The Bitter End  NYC

Richie Cannata's Mon Night Open Mic Jam with Friends started in the late 80's on a Wed. night at the China Club when the club was on west 75th and Broadway in NYC. It was called the "Pro Jam".  The band was called Cat Lingo and Cannata co- hosted it with Julio Fernandez and Judy Tint was the host during the night. It developed into the most sought after live music event in the city for many years. We had major artists from all over the world come in and jam.  The jam went through many changes as Julio and I both went on the road. I went out with Billy Joel and The Beach Boys and Julio with Spyro Gyra and when they came back it moved from club to club in the city. Bobby Nathan then took it over at The Triad and eventually it moved it to The Le Bar Bat. From there cannata took it over again and formed a new band with John, Chris, George and Jim with Lisa as the host and singer and started it at an east side club called Decade. They soon moved it over to The Cutting Room ,where it remained for five years, Kevin Bregande came in drums and Benny Harrison on keys The jam then found a new home at The Bitter End. Richie Cannata - Sax, Host / Benny Harrison - Keys, Vocals / Frosty Lawson- Trumpet, Flugelhorn and List Organizer, Vocals / Jim Moran - Guitar, Vocals.  George Panos- Bass / Kevin Bregande - Drums.  $10 admission  Sign-up sheet in person.Showtime: 11 pm.

The Stollers are a group of veteran players whose musical journey began in Greenwich Village, took them to Woodstock (the town not the festival) and of course back here to Roslyn.   The Stollers meet at the corner of Mind Street and Heart Blvd where high meets low. Shazam!  Six slightly deranged musicians playing the cheesiest songs of the 70's. Gissel Garcia, who composes her lyrics in English and Spanish, is widely known for her powerful vocals.  The Mexican roots of Gissel, along with her other musical influences, adds up to  a musical fusion that hasn’t been heard before.  Showtime: 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm.
