“Kamuki” is a Malayalam movie featuring Aksar Ali and Aparna Balamurali in unmistakable parts. It is a romantic movie directed by Binu S. The film relies on a campus story which also goes through the friendship and romance.

Askar Ali plays the lead role as Hari, a college student. The film experiences the life of Hari– his issues, romance and so forth.  Aparna Balamurali would play the lead female role who is the adoration enthusiasm of Hari. Aparna Balamurali handles the character of a college student named Achamma Varghese, who is a joyful, aimless character..

In an interview, Aparna said that “I play a ‘chattambi’ named Achamma Varghese in the film. It’s altogether different from what I have done.”

“Kamuki” will be Askar Ali’s second movie. The actor was first seen in Malayalam film industry with ‘Honeybee 2.5’ which released on August 18, 2017 and managed to garner good reviews.

Aparna appeared on the big screen through the film Oru Second Class Yaathra but she becomes predominant by the character Jimsy opposite to Fahadh Faasil in Maheshinte Prathikaram.

Sooraj S Kurup composes the music for the movie, both the movie tracks and scores are done by him. Aagosh Vaishnavam is the man who behind the camera and editing is done by Sudhi Madison. Director Binu Sadanandan and Unmesh Unnikrishnan are together produced the movie under the banner of Ithihasa Movies.

Kavya Suresh, Baiju, Binu Adimaly, Pradeep Kottayam, Rosin Jolly, Dan Davis, Ullas Pandalam and Aneesh Vikadan will also play important role in this movie.

The main shooting location is at Kalady Sree Sankara College and Kochi.

Aparna had already worked with Askar Ali’s brother Asif Ali in Jis Joy’s Sunday Holiday and Ratheesh Kumar’s Thrissivaperoor Kliptham. And furthermore, reports say that the actress is part of Asif Ali’s forthcoming movie BTech, which also has Niranjana Anoop as the female lead character. BTech is scheduled to go on floors in December.
