‘Mohanlal’ review: Manju Warrier appearing as Meenukutty in ‘Mohanlal’ film

Malayalam actor Mohanlal appreciates an immense fan following in Malayalam film Industry. Presently, a movie is made after his name and Manju Warrier plays his diehard fan in the Malayalam movie, which has now opened to genuinely positive reviews.

In spite of the fact that the film is called Mohanlal, it doesn’t account Lalettan’s journey but is about his diehard fan. Mohanlal’s impact on her life forms the crux of the story.

Actress Manju Warrier will play a character named Meenu kutty whereas Indrajith will appear as Sethumadhavan. Sethumadhavan supports his wife’s craze.

The film is a musical-romantic-comedy drama about an educated middle-class woman from Kerala. Meenu Kutty who was born on the same day when the Mollywood superstar Mohanlal appeared for the first on the silver screens across Kerala, through the iconic movie “Manjil Virinja Pookal”.

Analysis:

Manju has lived the character and saw how an insane fan lives. Indrajith Sukumaran as her husband has played his part well. In spite of the fact that the first half has some exaggerated moments, the second half is neat and enjoyable.  Overall, it is effortlessly a one-time watchable film.

Manju Warrier’s comeback career

Actress Manju Warrier made a comeback to cinema after a 14-year break with the critically and commercially successful film How Old Are You? which won her many accolades. How Old Are You? was remade in Tamil titled    “36 Vayadhinile”. The film marks actress Jyothika in a comeback role after seven years.
