Born in 1992 in Queens, Rich is of Haitian descent and grew up speaking Haitian Creole. He then moved from the Queens. He moved to Woodstock, Georgia, a town 30 minutes of Atlanta when he was only 13.

We don’t have that much information about his youth. However what we do know is that he Released his debut solo mixtape in 2013, called “Been About the Benjamins”. Later that year, he released a collaborative mixtape with Migos called “Streets on Lock”. He decided to release this mixtape in four different volumes, the two-first in 2013. The next one in 2014 and the last in 2015. This included multiple artists like Migos, Young Thug, Kirko Bangz, Rockie Fresh and more.

Meanwhile, he also released another mixtape called “Rich than Famous” in December 2014 and at the same time, he released a single called “On My Way.” In only two years starting from his first mixtape in 2013, his career has been a very busy one releasing multiple EP’s, a single and some mixtapes. But he kept on going and didn’t slow his pace as in 2015.

He released another collaborative mixtape called “Still On Lock” with Migos and in August of the same year, he released yet another mixtape: “Flexin’ on Purpose.” This project featured different collaborators such Fetty Wap and Rich Homie Quan. Until June 2017, he kept releasing more and more mixtapes and different features but his fame went skyrocketing when he collaborated with Wiz Khalifa.

But in June 2017, his career took a turn to the fame when he signed with Interscope Records. Citing that they give him an opportunity to do what he wanted to do without interference. At this moment, he started collaborating with world famous artists, starting with Kendrick Lamar. He released the single “New Freezer” where Kendrick on September 2017. The song was certified platinum by March 2018.

In March 2018, he also released his debut album: “The World is Yours” and included the featuring of Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, Khalid, Kendrick Lamar. His second single called “PlugWalk”, featuring Chris Brown, he peaked at 13 on the Billboard Hot 100.
