He will be next seen in the upcoming biopic of Kargil War hero “Vikram Batra”. Karan Johar on Thursday announced that he will be co-producing the upcoming biopic under his Dharma Productions banner along with producer Shabbir Boxwala.

The actor also gave a statement to a leading daily, “Vikram Batra’s life story will inspire you and bring a smile on your face. I am really excited to play the character and the shoot commences this year”. The film is written by Sandeep Shrivastava which will be directed by Vishnu Varadhan.
Karan Johar and Sidharth Malhotra have previously worked together in films like ‘Student of the Year’, ‘Ittefaq’, ‘Kapoor & Sons’ and ‘Brothers’. On work front, Karan is also producing movies like ‘Kalank’, ‘Dhadak’ and ‘Brahmastra’.
