South actor Prabhas has left no stones unturned to ensure his firm grip not only on the industry but also on the hearts of people. He has managed to stun one and all with his acting and as the Bahubali star turns 39 today fans cannot keep calm. His fan base is staggering and he has garnered a lot of love affection and support from them. He has predominantly worked for Telugu cinema and kick-started his career way back in 2002 with the film Eeshwar. Bollywood saw his crazy dance moves in an item song in Action Jackson and although he is yet to make his debut in Hindi cinema, he is already famous. The Great Bahubali Series

This movie requires no introduction. Often considered as his magnum opus and very rightly so, it is an epic action movie that contains two installations in the series, both of which were major blockbusters. The films have just the right amount of suspense and the historical context makes it all the more interesting. The great question arised in the first part, released in 2015, was: “Kattappa ne Bahubali ko kyu mara,” and it is answered in the follow up which was released last year (2017). The original was made in Tamil and Telugu and dubbed later in Hindi and various other languages. The plots bear a lot of similarities to Indian epics like the Ramayana and Mahabharata. Prabhas’ role was critically acclaimed.

Jai The Savior In Mirchi (2013)

An action drama, directed by Koratala Siva, stars Prabhas as the protagonist who eventually falls in love with his cousin portrayed by Anushka Shetty. The movie also features a solid and generous amount of family rivalry and the consequences of the same. Primarily a love story which seeks the reunion of the two, it is packed with a lot of action. The movie portrays various different avatars of Prabhas and he has been widely praised for his acting. Critics agree unanimously, that the movie wouldn’t be much if it wasn’t for the actor.

The Young Lover In Darling (2010)

A Telugu language family drama, directed by A Karunakaran it stars Kajal Aggarwal and Prabhas in the lead. It was another blockbuster and received major positive reviews from critics. It was remade into Hindi and Kannada under different titles and also in Bengali. The plot didn’t have anything remarkably new to offer but the actors’ performance was very powerful and popular opinion is that it was the main highlight.

The Much-Awaited Saaho

Everyone has been waiting restlessly for this one and looks like we are in for quite a treat. It’s a cyberpunk action movie something that is very new to Bollywood at least and also stars Shraddha Kapoor alongside Prabhas in the lead role. It’s being made in Hindi and in Telugu. It has the record of being one of the most expensive Indian movies. The first look was released on the same day last year and we are eagerly waiting for the teaser.

Prabhas is coming out like a dark horse and we hope the actor celebrates his birthday in a way that is as majestic and grand as all his movies. Happy birthday once again Prabhas.
