Check out the list of new dating terms.

Flexting And How To Deal With It

Flexting is sending a text with something to flaunt. For instance, “She flexted to say how many dates she has lined up this week.” Pretty self-explanatory this one is.

Unless you are looking for someone who has a habit of bragging and swelling things out of proportion, you know what to do. Avoid. Else, if you feel okay to just go on a casual date with them, you might go ahead. It would, however, be wise not to think of a serious relationship with these folks.

No, I am not talking about the T20 obsession. ‘Cricketing’ is a new term in dating. It means that someone has seen your message, but has not responded for a long time than acceptable, sometimes days and weeks.

You might have seriously liked the person, but when he or she is cricketing with you the message is loud and clear. They are not really avoiding you outright, but are keeping you as options for casual flings. If you are game for it, then get along; but if you are looking for a serious relationship, move away and think afresh. Look for new matches.

Ghostbusting And How To Deal With It

You might just have returned from a great date, or so you thought. Your date suddenly goes numb in a day or two, and you receive no response. A clear indication of you being avoided.

There is no point in brooding about it. Such is the concept of dating. The person you went on a date with might not have taken similar interest in you, and that is fine; and not everyone can tell you that on your face. So, pick up the hint and march ahead. Do not waste time brooding over something that you cannot control.

Dating needs an open mind and an attitude to move ahead if someone did not click with you. Deal with it casually. Be glad that truth came forward before things went serious.
