The Tune was composed by Brian Wilson and Mike Love and depended on genuine events in the life of Dennis Wilson.[6][7] In 1996, Russ Titelman reviewed that he went by Brian while he was dealing with the melody, and that its unique verse was "Run, Run, Run".[8] Then-director Murry Wilson was disappointed with the tune, and had build Throw Britz scratch off one of its account sessions. In any case, Brian rescheduled the session subsequent to finding what happened.
The opening electric guitar presentation of the first form of the tune depended on Throw Berry's "Johnny B. The stereo and mono blends come from a similar chronicle yet have a critical contrast: the fadeout on the stereo blend becomes dull right on time into the melody's outro, with the instruments blurring ceaselessly before the vocals (and an overdubbed drum part). The mono blend, as heard on the 45 and also mono duplicates of Close Down Volume 2 has a broadened outro.[citation needed]
