What a week, Here are the Biggest Headlines For Nigerian Hiphop News. Mode9ine had earlier blessed the week with a project titled “Long Story Short”; a surprise EP with Kid Konnect. “Long Story Short” is a project that was recorded way back 2007. Also, underground rapper, Pherowshuz (aka Phero) dropped a banging hip-hop tune titled “Ovasabi”. The ex KD World rapper has been somewhat inconsistent in the past years.
In other news, South-South rapper, Yung6ix, gave us the video to his single “Ina The Benz” earlier this week. The song was released last April 2018. Yesterday, he released another joint titled “Everything Gucci” and it is something everybody needs to check out.
Also coming in, is another South-South rapper, Erigga, with a new tune titled “Motivation”. On this one, he features talented singer, Victor AD.
And finally, street rappers, Slimcase and Mr Real recently joined pop singer, Mr Eazi for a shaku-shaku themed song titled “Overload”. Mr Real also recently got a spot on a new Solidstar jam “Allow Me”.
That’s not even all. Popular disc jockey, DJ Neptune has released his debut album “Greatness”. The album, which dropped on May 25 is a masterpiece. It houses 13 tracks and 2 bonus tracks. What makes it Even more exciting, is the line-up of guests rappers on the project. It has got M.I, Jesse Jagz, Reminisce, Olamide, Slimcase, Mr Real, Zoro and many other artistes on it.
