I just checked my score for the MOCK CAT that we had on Sunday. I was disappointed...3865th position out of the 5220 candidates that sat for the exam.Pathetic! I know things seem a bit distant. I had worked hard for the exam- stayed up all night, studied the entire morning and made a two hour journey to reach the exam hall. I think I needed better luck. Weird place this.
On a recent survey that i picked up froma periodical, I found out that the ratio of the number of seats to the number of students sitting for the Common Admission Test(CAT) was 1:150. This was outrageous. The ratio turned out to be 1:9 for a seat at Stanford for the same Business Program. Well, these figures make you feel small... almost nothing. Wonder when things would get under control. Somebody's rightly put it- There are two ways looking at something. First, as if nothing is a miracle and the second, as if everything is one.
I'll just wait and see if a miracle works out for me!
