Few things are as evocative of summer as beautiful pieces woven from natural fibers. While wicker, rattan, rush, abaca, seagrass, straw, and raffia are certainly a welcome addition to anyone’s home or wardrobe during any season, they are absolutely perfect and iconic in the summer time. I especially love a Chic Woven Handbag. I’ve had a little wicker clutch for years that I absolutely love and carry on warm nights out. I also have several, big straw totes with leather handles that I will use at the market or for hauling things like fabric samples, tape measures, and notebooks to client meetings. Pretty wovens add a touch of warmth, fantastic texture, and a feeling of chic, effortless style no matter how you choose to use them. Few things are as classic or timeless as a chic woven handbag. While there is a sense of nostalgia associated with them, the examples I have rounded up here prove that they can also feel completely fresh and current.
