Happy Friday! It’s hard to believe that another week is behind us, but I am definitely ready for the weekend. We have been busy with new client projects and some exciting new initiatives around here– so stay tuned as all of that develops! We had some work done at our house this week as well, so Tate has been at my mother-in-law’s house for a few nights. We had a bit of a scare the other day when she called us in a panic saying that Tate had somehow gotten into her stash of Garlic (come again?). We rushed him to the vet who said garlic is highly toxic and that we would need to bring him in so that they could pump his stomach and get some anti-toxin medication in his system. It turns out that garlic can attack the red blood cells in a dog’s system and if the toxins are high enough, the dog can become anemic or his blood vessels could begin to burst. We were quite worried until Fabian’s mom called to say she found the missing garlic. Apparently Tate had taken it, but he spit it out somewhere. I had my doubts about him liking raw garlic! Typically, he only likes organic honey crisp apples and strawberries, so it seemed out of character for him. It seems the whole thing could have been avoided, but after putting Tate through the wringer and racking up a big bill at the vet, we’re just glad that he is going to be okay and that it was just a misunderstanding. I always say it is better to be safe than sorry! Here’s what has been on my radar lately!

Design: I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that House Beautiful‘s March issue is really strong. I am still thinking about this bold apartment designed by Nick Olsen. There are few things I love as much as a Louis XVI dining chair and chinoiserie wallpaper. Add a jib door and we can just call the whole thing off!

Style: New York Fashion Week took place this week with designer’s showing their Fall/Winter 2017 collections. Standouts for me include Carolina Herrera (forever and always!), Oscar de la Renta, Ralph Lauren’s stunning presentation at their Madison Avenue flagship which was decked out in thousands of Phalaenopsis orchids, and Rosie Assoulin. The yellow silk moiré, dress-over-pants ensemble pictured above is absolutely stunning. I want it for myself in at least three colors! What can I say– I am a pants-loving girl. Give me pants over a dress or skirt any day, please!

Watch: I’ve seen a couple of previews for Ryan Murphy’s latest drama for FX, Feud: Bette and Joan about the legendary rivalry between Bette Davis and Joan Crawford. I’m sure this will be filled with campy fun. Andy Cohen just gave it a soaring endorsement when Ryan Murphy appeared on Watch What Happens Live on Wednesday night. Watch the extended trailer here.

Eat: I love citrus season! I came across Half Baked Harvest’s Glowing Citrus, Avocado, Quinoa, and Blackened Salmon recipe which looks like a delicious way to incorporate in-season citrus along with several super-food. I’ll definitely try this soon!

Listen: I have loved Maroon 5 since they first came out during my college days. I love Adam Levine’s voice and typically love their music. A lot of their songs are tied to special or pivotal times in my life. I just heard their latest single, “Cold” and am loving it! Download it on iTunes or watch the video here.

Shop: Several of my favorite sites are having President’s Day sales. One Kings Lane has instant 20% off savings on thousands of items including the gorgeous Calais Sconce, while Wisteria is offering 20% off site wide with code PREZ2017. They have a ton of chic, new introductions including this framed cloud engraving which reminds me a lot of the Fornasetti wallpaper I have in my powder room. Lastly, J.Crew just introduced their fun, new Ready-to-Party collection with loads of pretty, feminine dresses and skirts for Spring with details like ruffles and eyelet. I have a feeling they will go quickly!

Have a wonderful weekend!
