Boozy Strawberry Limeade: The Perfect Date Night Cocktail
Date nights are important for any couple, but sometimes with kids, it’s hard to go out on the town so hosting date nights at home is the way to go. How do you make date night special at your house? We love serving up a special dinner for two along with a date night Cocktail by candlelight. This Boozy Strawberry Limeade Cocktail is one of our favorites because it tastes delicious with fresh fruit flavors and it’s fancy enough that it makes you feel like you’re at a five-star restaurant instead of at home.
The cane sugar rimmed glass garnished with a fresh strawberry just seems so fitting for a date night dinner at home and the cocktail itself is so refreshing. This cocktail is the perfect blend of strawberry vodka, lime gin, strawberry and fresh lime juices, along with a splash of grenadine. It’s such a delicious and beautiful concoction, it’s sure to win over anyone’s heart!
Home Chef Tip: This cocktail recipe can be followed using lemon and cherry juice instead of lime and strawberry to create a Cherry Lemonade Date Night Cocktail instead!
Ingredients
- 1 oz Strawberry Vodka
- 1 oz Lime Gin
- Juice of 1 Key Lime
- ½ oz Grenadine
- 4 oz Strawberry Juice
- Organic Cane Sugar and Strawberry for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a shaker, squeeze lime juice, then add all other ingredients.
- Shake until thoroughly mixed.
- If you are sugar-rimming your glass, pour two tablespoons of cane sugar in a bowl and a thin layer of lime juice in another bowl.
- Dip the top of your glass in the bowl with lime juice, then immediately dip into the bowl of cane sugar until the rim is covered with the sugar.
- Pour your cocktail into the glass, slice a strawberry, and garnish.
- Enjoy responsibly.
