HEAVY METAL FOOTBALL? MORE LIKE SOFT CELL

Liverpool's alarming loss of form resulted in a First Home defeat to relegation strugglers Swansea who earned all three points at Anfield at noon on Saturday in a 3-2 loss.

It has been obvious that Klopp's new ultra-cautious tactics have not worked against Sunderland where we could only manage a draw, Plymouth 0-0 & a 1-0 replay victory followed by a negative performance against Man Utd in which we gained a point.

Boom! Jurgen as you called it when we were beating teams for fun both home and away, bringing us to nearly the top of the League Table.

Gone now is the attacking Football, the pressing and triumphant approach is dead in the water.

Klopp's tactic's of late have been to play it around the backs and look for an opening.

Playing the ball around the defenders only invite teams to seize the initiative and go on the offensive.

Bournemouth, Sunderland, Plymouth twice and now Swansea have seen this new tactic and have decided to attack the new hesitant Liverpool.

Gone are the days when we would have put sides like this to the sword.

A major re-think by the Liverpool Manager is needed and soon.

Can and Wijnaldum do the same job in midfield, drop one of them,
Jorden Henderson has become ultra-negative in his role as Captain, back-passing far too much instead of passing the ball to his forwards, it needs to change soon.

Klopp needs to find a way to integrate Daniel Sturridge into his first team, leaving him on the bench for a home game against lowly Swansea was a bad mistake by the Manager.

Unless we improve our performance levels and approach we have no chance of beating  Southampton in The League Cup this week.

Then Jurgen Klopp you may wonder about the lack of noise at Anfield once more.
