Perhaps, you had a dream to build a great Marriage and family before you met your spouse, and it is looking as though events are on the reverse, you need to pause and ask yourself this life question, why am I not having a great marriage? Why am I not experiencing the home I prayed for? The sincere answer to that question is YOU; you are the very reason your marriage is not working; if you ever think your spouse is, you are wrong. Stop blaming your spouse; you don’t solve a problem by blaming, you solve a problem by accepting your own part of the responsibility.

Your marriage is exactly what your emotions made it; when you change, your marriage will change; everything changes when you change. Your personal positive change is the catalyst for having a great marriage. Perhaps, you got into marriage with a lot of fantasies and unrealistic expectations, based on a wrong family foundation; that perspective from such foundation has to drastically change for lines to fall in pleasant places; because it will keep feeding the fox that promotes Marital division, and Marital division is the mother of all Marital Crisis. You need to know the word of God about marriage and activate love and patience, knowing that you are two imperfect people in a perfect institution; your emotions will fight this, but it is the way to go. With love and patience in place, your marital ideals can become your realities.
