We’ve officially entered summer with its long stretches of sunshine, balmy breezes, and, to the joy of many a music lover, summer music festivals. Although scorching temps may throw a few beauty challenges our way (melting SPF, anyone?), we’re undaunted in our love for summer Festival Makeup. Whether or not you’re actually attending a festival this summer, we hope you’re inspired by these festival makeup ideas (they work for backyard parties and evenings on the town, too!). (P.S. All of the makeup featured here is vegan and cruelty-free and free of major body care toxins.)
Have fun with bronzer.
There’s no need to bake in the sun to get a great sun-kissed glow. Summer is not the time to feel shy with bronzer. The key is just applying bronzer where the sun naturally tans your face (top of forehead, cheekbones, bridge of nose, and chin).
