Ahhh the ever so Classic white shirt!! Can anyone in this entire universe ever go wrong with a white shirt? Umm I don't think so. It is the most uncomplicated piece of clothing to throw on when you are in a huge dilemma whether for a business meeting or a casual lunch with a group of friends. The classic white Shirt is not confined to the four walls of a serious business conference room. No not at all. Get over that mindset people and start experimenting with this one. There are not just 2-3 ways in which you can style a white shirt but there are endless possibilities and every style would be different because of your personal touch to it.
If you want to come out of the box in terms of experimenting with your style but ever so slightly keep yourself within your comfort zone then a white shirt is your answer.
There are so many ideas running through my mind to style this classic. If you want to go chic route, then tuck the white shirt into a pair of black denims and wear red stilettos. Don't forget to get your red lips on. If you want to go all out and go the DIY way then get yourself tons of wacky and quirky stickers or iron on patches and go crazy on your canvas. Pair that with ripped shorts, ankle boots and a straw hat. The perfect attire for a vacation.
But I went totally the opposite direction and that is the mismatched way. Who says that you have to match your shoes with your hand bag or match anything for that matter. I wanted to show case the classic shirt in a different perspective with a hint of my personality to it so I went all out and created this look. I feel this look is apt for any casual or semi formal event. I went ahead with this white shirt from Forever21 which I got on sale at a steal ( I am a sucker for sales, well which Indian is not) and tied a knot in the front to give more carefree vibe and paired it with a pair of red palazzos. These palazzo pants are not like your regular soft, free flowing palazzos. These snitch at the waist and is made up of a thicker material which gives the palazzos a structure and proper shape. I jazzed it up all the more with a bright blue textured clutch and the classic black heels. Even though no colors match each other but the entire color palette compliments the white shirt and also makes it stand out. Finish it with reflector sunglasses and an intricate watch. Now you are ready to conquer the world and that to without trying too much.
You can even wear this for any beach party or vacation by just replacing the heels with the most comfortable pair of slippers.
